My two great loves
at school were art and music.
I taught music in
Belfast for thirty years but retained a love for art and painted
intermittently when time allowed. I took a voluntary redundancy
and have been painting seriously for the past two years.
My work is in private
collections in Ireland and England

Apple Orange
I
started with watercolours but now concentrate on oils. I am
inspired by everything around me and spend time looking objectively
at things and working out how to represent them on canvas.
I have realised that painting is a continuous learning process
and as such, it is a lesson that I enjoy immensely.
