Sylvia has always been interested in the Art Form and after retiring from her teaching career, was encouraged to join an Art Society and start painting.





Through the guidance of John Turner at the University of Ulster, Belfast, she pursued oil painting, finding great satisfaction in landscape painting, especially wild flower meadows and seascapes.
